There was never any doubt in any conservative's mind that Obama had any intentions of fulfilling his promises of being "our president too." From his first executive order on inauguration day to close Guantanamo Bay in a year with no plan in place, we all knew that this was only the beginning of what would prove to be the single biggest push to enact the liberal wish list of the last 50 years.
We saw President Obama parade tax cheaters, nanny-gaters, and those under investigation before congress with arrogance demanding approval of his choices flying in the face of his promise that there would be no politics as usual and that we were now in the new era of politics. He chose the most bitter partisan on the Hill, Rahm Emmanuel to be his chief of staff, a known Democratic arm-twister and person of questionable tactics who coined the now famous phrase, "You never want to let a good crisis go to waste." This became the key tactic of the Obama administration and congress in their shameful ramming-through of the Stimulus Bill.
Obama chose as his Attorney General a man who agreed with Bill Clinton in pardoning a man who made millions if not billions on illegal oil deals in the middle east. Eric Holder also recommended pardoning 16 violent FALN terrorists, but swore he would be tough in prosecuting terrorists. What's he's proven to be tough on is promising to prosecute those who kept our country safe through advanced interrogation techniques and turning a blind eye to those responsible for obstructing government oversight in Fannie and Freddie (Frank, Waters, and Dodd) whose collapse catalyzed the current banking/economical crisis.
The Assistant Attorney General proved to be an even more interesting and obviously left choice. His stances on child pornography and its enforcement and pornography in general are disgusting enough to keep him from this prestigious job, but that's only the short story of this man's career. By the way, Obama's White House Council Gregory Craig is no ray of sunshine either. He was a war protester in the 60s, represented war criminals, defended a Panamanian who killed a U.S. soldier as well as others who can be called anything but friends of America.
We've seen Obama break his promise of no lobbyists in his administration by appointing a former Ratheon lobbyist to be Deputy Secretary of Defense. There are at least a dozen more, but we shouldn't be worried because they've all signed "waivers."
We've seen President Obama deride and chastise his own nation to foreign leaders as well as cozying up to Latin American dictators and sitting idly by as they made a mockery of our great nation without saying a word to defend the country he represents, but obviously must dislike.
We've seen the President defy the advice of his own Director of the CIA as well as four prior holders of that position when he released partisanly redacted interrogation memos and now photos. Funny how Obama refuses to release the memos that tell the story of the great number of attacks that were thwarted and the countless number of lives that were saved.
We've heard the requests of Geithner and Obama to have the ability to seize any business they deem unfit. We also know the desires of this President and congress in regards to dictating the salary structure of not just TARP or Stimulus fund recipients but virtually all of corporate America.
I guess the most puzzling portion of Obama's first 1oo days is that the mainstream media continues to violate their journalistic code of ethics in being objective and reporting the truth to America because I know that anyone who actually heard the above stated FACTS would not give this president the approval ratings he currently holds in the many different polls.
Wake up America, rub the rhetoric from your eyes and see this President for what he is, a committed, far-left, socialistic ideologue willing to sacrifice the country to "remake" it into his vision (not yours or mine) of what this nation should be, the USSA.
